  We found out about this place, when having lunch at Terafina restaurant, at Heston Creek winery. They serve Medici's ice cream. We thought we should go and check the gelateria, itsepf. The best gelato and ice cream we had in a while. We are from Vancouver, and travel a lot. Their chocolate ice cream is beyond belief.

  Beware of the extra 1.00 RIP OFF charge on a cone when ordering gelato. Staff do not inform customer of the 1.00 extra for a lousy cone not even a waffle category. They just charge at the till assuming the customer is ok with that......Owner was not very concerned and did not acknowledge the fact that he's ripping people off.

  On Monday afternoon , I went to Medicia's for lunch , order a glass of wine an a Beet Salad . after my first 2 bites , I found a long hair in my Salad . I went up the counter , told the waitress , she took the plate from me and said okay , I return to my table. 3 minutes late the waitress came to my table and said do you want a refund back, to say the least I was very surprised .
  she didn't say may I offer you something else , nothing like that . I said no I would like a different Salad.
  I asked to speak to the manager , some old fella came to my table and ask , what's the problem . I told him that there was a long hair in my salad and the waitress did not appolizice about the hair being in the food. he said to me ,well didn't you get another salad , I said yes but I want you to know there was a hair in my food. his reply was I don't know where the hair came from, I said she got long hair and she is not wearing a cover on her head , to my surprised he said well she work here and she not going anywhere . I thought that was so rude and ignorant to say to a customer , I then told him all I want is an appoligy , and acknlodger what I was saying .. I find him not to nice ,.. I will never go back there nor will I recomand that place to anyone . I am A Chef and if that was my restaurant I would do my best to make It A food safe place .. Be Kind To People , Show Them you care about how you serve your food... and they will always return if they treated nicely ......
